GENERAL
By placing an order through this Website, you have made an offer to purchase the products you have selected under these Terms.
Once you have placed an order, you may only cancel any portion of the order or the entire order as long as the order has not been dispatched. You may not add additional items to your order. You will be required to place an additional order for any additional items you wish to purchase. Please contact Calcutta Chai Co’s Customer Service at hello@calcuttachai.com to request a change or cancellation of your order. You will be informed of the eligibility of the request as soon as is practicable after we receive your request. We cannot cancel an order which has already been shipped.
We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorization for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria set-out within these Terms. Furthermore, we may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion, and we will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our refusal to process a transaction.
PRICINGÂ
Prices of the products on this website are in Indian Rupees. If you are eligible for a Member Discount, your discount is not reflected in the price of the products listed on this website, but will be reflected in the cart page after you have signed in to your member account.
All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The relevant price of a product in a currency displayed on this website at the time the order is placed will be honoured, except in cases of patent error.
The prices payable for the items you order are those displayed on this website on the date you place your order, inclusive of GST (Goods & Services Tax) but excluding delivery charges. Delivery charges will be billed at the rates indicated in this website on the date you place your order, calculated in accordance with the size of the order and the delivery method you select.
Calcutta Chai Co reserves the right to modify its prices and delivery charges at any time and to cancel an order in case of writing, printing or calculation errors.
DELIVERY
Calcutta Chai Co offers free shipping on all domestic orders across India.Â
All orders confirmed by Calcutta Chai Co will be sent to the delivery address you specify when placing your order. Calcutta Chai Co is unable to amend the delivery address other than the one that has been provided to us upon placement of your order(s).
We aim to dispatch all orders within 1 to 3 business days. Calcutta Chai Co uses Blue Dart, DTDC, Xpressbees, Ekart Logistics, FedEx, Delhivery, Ecom Express, Shadowfax, DotZot and the Indian Post as shipping carriers for all paid shipping deliveries. The standard delivery time is between 3 to 5 business days depending on the shipment method and subject to conditions. Estimated delivery times are to be used only as a guide commencing from the date of dispatch. Calcutta Chai Co is not responsible for any delays caused by any delivery and/or customs clearance processes.Â
Due to COVID19, many courier companies are experiencing a reduction in available commercial cargo capacity. For this reason, there may be some delays for deliveries which are entirely beyond our control.
VERIFICATION OF PURCHASES
You are responsible to verify the quantity and condition of the purchases upon delivery.
In case you observe damaged or missing items, you must notify and file a claim with the courier and inform Calcutta Chai Co within 5 days after the delivery. Calcutta Chai Co shall in such case provide you with identical replacement merchandise.
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear in this website. However, as computer and mobile phone or any other electronic device screens vary, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display of any colour will be completely identical to our products.
In case you need to return your product, you should mail your product to: 3, William Carey Road, Serampore, Hooghly, West Bengal – 712201.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
